Job Description:

The Director of Marketing for rSTAR provides vision and leadership for the marketing team. The Director coordinates all marketing activities to fulfill marketing plans and achieve lead and sales goals, ensuring that all deliverables support companywide sales objective. This role is directly responsible for the company’s marketing strategy, marketing campaigns to specific industries, and the tactical channel efforts to strengthen the company’s market position and acquire new clients. In this role, you will work directly with internal stakeholders and external partner to determine the company’s marketing strategy, vision, and tactics, and manage offshore and onshore marketing teams as well as external vendors to accomplish the company’s marketing and sales goals.

You will be responsible for brainstorming, developing, and executing the marketing strategy for rSTAR with a specific focus on sales enablement, lead/demand generation, partner marketing and multi-touch account-based marketing

Working closely with the Client Engagement team and cross sector leadership teams you will develop and execute compelling marketing campaigns. The campaigns created and executed will differentiate rSTAR against the competition and make customers aware of the services and solutions we can offer them.

This role will report to the VP of Client Engagement and will be crucial in helping the company build marketing plans aligned to business strategy for target customers and prospects. Your experience marketing for SIs (System Integrators), IT Services and Consulting or IT Professional Services organizations – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the short- and long-term marketing strategy to position rSTAR as a significant niche consulting firm in the manufacturing, automotive and energy industries
  • Create and execute annual marketing plan that outlines deadlines, budgets and expected results specific to marketing qualified leads for the Client Engagement team.
  • Provide analytical and quantitative data analysis for existing marketing media activities
  • Oversee the brand by ensuring that all blogs, social posts, newsletters, collateral, press releases and any other written or visual content reinforces the rSTAR brand aesthetic and standards and remains consistent with the company’s desired voice in the marketplace
  • Complete analysis of customer research, current market conditions, and competitors
  • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, partners and vendors
  • Manage all offshore and onshore marketing team members
  • Develop and manage brand building/demand generation activities for new and existing services across propositions, industries, and customers
  • Be comfortable creating, developing, and executing marketing plans which contain the following types of activities – events, web, social media, PR, document creation (brochures, whitepapers, datasheets, infographics), webinars, video
  • Ensure our brand positioning and messaging is strong and consistent across all marketing channels
  • Prepare and manage quarterly budgets for each campaign
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness in both existing, new and target customers to drive revenue growth
  • Analyse market trends, potential client behaviour and analyst views – then translate into key messages and marketing activities aligned to specific company offers
  • Set, monitor and report on campaign objectives and progress
  • Maintain accurate data as well as list segmentation of key clients to produce effective campaigns.
  • Use HubSpot and Salesforce to produce dashboards, reports and track inbound and outbound marketing qualified leads.
  • Develop and track key KPIs, metrics, and campaign ROI.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 years previous working experience in a Marketing or Business Development role with campaign performance accountability and team management responsibilities
  • You must have experience marketing for SIs (System Integrators), IT Services and Consulting or IT Professional Services organizations – Mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Marketing for Professional Services/Consulting organizations is preferred
  • Account-based and partner marketing experience and/or understanding
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and content management systems
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and building omnichannel campaigns to boost demand generation and promote sales enablement, including in-person events, webinars, marketing automation, social media, etc.
  • Track record of building and running multiple sales & marketing campaigns in parallel
  • Business or Marketing-related degree, MBA a plus
